When you running your DC and DNS server in local environment and you try to add new server/computer to your existing domain controller you might be end up with following error.

was queried for the service location (SRV) resource record used to locate an
Active Directory Domain Controller (AD DC) for domain "kgjs.local":
The error was: "DNS name does
not exist."

How to fix this error:
First try to ping to your DNS server ip address
Ping result |
If unable to ping then go to your network adapter settings and check
your DNS settings in IPv4.
If it
set to obtain DNS server address automatically then point it to your DNS ip
address.
